[:en]A team of Municipal Councillors of Panvel met Hon.Ministers Shri  Sudhir Mungantiwar, Girish Mahajan,, Chandrashekhar Bawankule and Babanrao Lonikar to find solutions on the various problems such as water supply, underground cabling of electrical lines,increase the height of Dehrang dam and sought their help.[:hi]पनवेल महानगरपालिकेच्या लोकप्रतिनिधींनी आपल्या नेतृत्वाखाली मुंबई येथे मंत्रीमहोदयांच्या भेटी घेतल्या. या वेळी त्यांनी पनवेल मनपा हद्दीतील विविध समस्या मार्गी लावण्याची मागणी केली. भाजप लोकप्रतिनिधींनी अर्थमंत्री सुधीर मुनगंटीवार, जलसंपदा मंत्री गिरीश महाजन, ऊर्जामंत्री चंद्रशेखर बावनुकळे, तसेच पाणीपुरवठा मंत्री बबनराव लोणीकर यांच्या स्वीय सहाय्यकांची भेट घेतली. पनवेलकर नागरिकांची गरज लक्षात घेऊन नवी मुंबई महापालिकेकडून पनवेल महापालिकेस दैनंदिन २० एमएलडी इतका पाणीपुरवठा पुढील तीन वर्षांकरिता उपलब्ध करून देण्यात यावा, तसेच महापालिकेस कायमस्वरूपी पाणीपुरवठा होण्याकरिता धरणाची उपलब्धता करून देण्यात यावी, अशी मागणी पनवेलच्या महापौर डॉ. कविता चौतमोल यांनी जलसंपदा मंत्री गिरीश महाजन यांच्याकडे पत्राद्वारे केली आहे.
