An appeal was made to the gathering to support the Panvel Municipal Corporation to ban plastic and to classify the garbage with dry and wet garbage.[:hi]स्वच्छ भारत अभियान अंतर्गत भारतीय जनता पक्ष पनवेल आणि श्री. रामशेठ ठाकूर सामाजिक विकास मंडळ यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने मागील महिन्यात चित्रकला स्पर्धा आयोजित करण्यात आली होती. या स्पर्धेचा पारितोषिक वितरण समारंभ रविवारी (१९ नोव्हेंबर) आद्यक्रांतिवीर वासुदेव बळवंत ङ्गडके नाट्यगृहात झाला. पनवेल महापालिकेने घनकचरा वर्गीकरण, तसेच प्लॅस्टिक पिशव्यांवर बंदी असे चांगले निर्णय घेतले आहेत. नागरी सोसायट्यांनी ओला व सुका कचर्याचे वर्गीकरण करावे. अशा सोसायट्यांचाच कचरा महापालिकेतर्फे उचलला जाणार आहे. पालिकेचे हे धोरण योग्य असून, नागरिकांनीही या मोहिमेला साथ द्यावी, तसेच प्लॅस्टिक पिशव्यांचा वापर टाळावा, असे आवाहन आम्ही त्यावेळी लोकांना केले.[:] 1](https://www.prashantthakur.in/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/23659630_332992460508801_5031681602588208338_n-690x388.jpg)
