The Department Of Tribal Region, Maharashtra, had organized a Sports event. It was from 4th to 6th Jan 2014 at Ramsheth Thakur International Sports college. Participants were from all over Thane, Dahanu, Pen, Jawhar, Shahpur, Solapur & Ghodgaon. A total of 1138 participants were part of this event. The Prize distribution ceremony was presided over by MLA Mr Prashant Thakur along with Ex MLA Ramseth Thakur and additional Commissionar of Tribal Development  –Sudhir Patil.
